Can you say goosebumps???
The little girl is named Kathryn, and she is eleven years old. Two days ago she had her pacemaker replaced, and she looks fantastic. My eyes welled up with tears the entire time I spoke to her mom. How awesome is our God? After hitting a scary road block yesterday, He could not have sent me a sweeter gift than to meet this precious little girl from Lily's China province. As massive and far reaching as our world seems sometimes, I am absolutely humbled by how God continues to move mountains and send me Godwinks when I need them the most.
"We will not hide these truths from our children,
we will tell the next generation
about the glorious deeds of the Lord!
About his power and his mighty wonders."
Psalm 78:4
Still praying for your sweet Lily and God's continued healing hand on her body. One of our sweet Chinese princesses, also situs inversus and with a complicated CHD including single ventricle - was in the hospital last year - post-op Glen and had a bacterial infection. No fun but praise God they found it before you left the hospital. Some IV antibiotics will work miracles! Sending hugs:)

ReplyDeleteLove the idea of Godwinks. In the midst of great weariness and conviction growing weak under unrelenting pressure, we have been continually refreshed and replenished to take the next step by the God of the universe reaching down ... and touching us... as He winks.
So blessed to see He is doing the same for you. And continuing to pray for Lily. And all of your family, including, and especially you.
Hugs and kisses from P.E.I!
