Gotcha Day #2

After a two hour delay in the airport and a 3 1/2 hour delay ON THE AIRPLANE Mackenzie, Mommy and Kelley were off to Guangzhou to meet Papa and Lily!  I will fill you in later on the details of our flight later because it was quite eventful.  When Jacques and Lily left Guangzhou the last thing their guide told Lily was that when her airplane landed, she would meet her Momma.  Well, Momma's flight was seriously delayed so instead Lily met our guide Eva, who she thought was her Momma.  When Eva left Jacques and Lily at the hotel, Lily burst into tears and cried for about 10 minutes thinking that her Momma had just left.  Break my heart!!!

My heart if overflowing with love right now, and I am so very thankful that God lead us to this place at this time to bring these two beautiful girls into our family.  They are both absolutely amazing.  Mackenzie is thriving with having Lily around...and they have only been together awake for about 4 hours.  This morning we went for the girl's medical exams and TB tests today, and as long as Lily went first, Mackenzie was fine.  Every single last worry or hesitation I had about adopting two children at once are completely gone.  This is by far, one of the best decisions we have ever made in terms of our family.

But let's be honest, all you want to see are photos
of our new daughters, right?

So without further ado...

The girls meeting each other for the first time!!!!

Momma is sooooooo in LOVE

Our beautiful China babies...

Lily is so happy to have a Momma...yes, she is smiling, not crying!

Papa and his Mongolian Princess...he is smitten.

Happiness defined...

Couldn't you just squeeze her????

I know I was heavy on the Lily photos,
but that is just because you haven't seen her yet.

More to come while the girls are napping...
